Delete your Healthly account.
Last updated 19 October 2026
You can delete one report, one person or your whole Healthly account at any time. Deleting your account in the app or on WhatsApp happens straight away and cannot be undone. This page explains how, what is deleted and what is kept.
In the Healthly iPhone app
- Open the You tab and go to Settings.
- Under Data and privacy, tap Delete account.
- Read what will be deleted, then confirm.
If you set up the family, this deletes the whole family: everyone's reports, profiles, medicines and reminders. Family members you invited lose access and are told. If you joined someone else's family, only your own login and personal details are deleted, and the family's records stay with the family owner.
On WhatsApp
- Send delete my data to Healthly.
- Read what will be deleted, then tap Yes, delete.
For the family owner, this deletes the account and the whole family, as in the app, and disconnects every WhatsApp number in the family. For a family member, it disconnects your WhatsApp from the family. To delete a family member's own login too, use the app or write to us.
Deleting just one thing
- In the app, you can delete a single report, medicine or reminder, or remove a family member and everything filed under them.
- On WhatsApp, say what you want removed, for example "delete my last report" or "remove Amma". Healthly asks you to confirm first.
By request
No app or WhatsApp? Use the Write to us form, choose "My data or privacy", and give the phone number on the account. Healthly will check that the account is yours, for example with a message to that number, then delete it within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Reports, prescriptions, bills and vaccination cards, and their stored files.
- Everything read from them: results, medicines, doses, reminders and vaccination records.
- Family profiles, invites, share links and Apple Health readings.
- Sign-in sessions and notification settings.
- The WhatsApp message log for your family's phones.
What is kept, and why
- For one year, as India's data protection rules require: your consent records (what you agreed to, which version, when, and the network address), a minimised log of activity on the account (the kind of action, when, internal reference numbers and the network address, with no report content, names or file names), and a short record that the deletion happened (when, and how many profiles and reports). One year after the deletion, all of these are deleted too.
- Cost records for AI and text reading, with nothing that says whose they were, to keep the service's accounts.
- Usage counts, if you said yes to them, under their coded ID, which nothing in Healthly links to a person once the account is gone.
- Messages you sent through the website form, and an invite request you left on the website. They are deleted after 12 months, or sooner if you ask us.
- Your own WhatsApp chat with Healthly, which stays on your phone until you delete it there.
- Anything Indian law requires Healthly to keep, only for as long as it requires.
Before you delete
Deleted records cannot be brought back. To keep a copy, in the app go to Settings, Data and privacy, Export my data first.
